Virgin Atlantic boosts Cape Town flights for 2026/27 season
Virgin Atlantic has announced an increase in flights between London Heathrow and Cape Town for the 2026/27 summer season, expanding to 11 weekly services from October 2026 through March 2027. The airline will also boost frequencies on its Johannesburg route, responding to growing demand for both leisure and business travel to South Africa.
The expanded schedule is expected to enhance international connectivity and support continued tourism growth into South Africa during one of the country’s busiest travel periods. Improved flight frequency also provides travellers with greater flexibility and stronger onward connections through London Heathrow to Virgin Atlantic’s broader international network, including destinations in North America.
