Viceroy expands into Africa with three safari lodges
Viceroy Hotels & Residences has announced its entry into Africa with three luxury safari lodges in Zambia and Botswana, managed by African Bush Camps. The portfolio comprises Thorntree River Lodge in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park near Victoria Falls, Lolebezi in Zambia’s Lower Zambezi National Park, and Atzaró Okavango Camp in Botswana’s Okavango Delta, aligning the brand with nature-led, immersive travel.
The lodges offer guided activities such as walking safaris, river and canoe excursions, and day and night game drives, alongside contemporary amenities. Viceroy CEO Arash Azarbarzin called the move a milestone in the group’s global growth, signalling continued demand for high-end safari experiences in Southern Africa.
