United Airlines has significantly increased service on its Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) to Accra Kotoka International Airport (ACC) route, boosting frequencies from three weekly flights to daily. The expanded schedule, introduced on 25 October for the 2024-2025 IATA winter season, reflects growing demand for transatlantic travel.

This service increase translates to a 67% year-over-year rise in available seats, with daily flights continuing through 17 February 2025. Beyond this, the schedule will reduce slightly to six weekly flights during the summer season. The flights are timed for seamless connections via Washington Dulles, where United Airlines offers the most one-stop connections from Accra of any US airline.

Operating with Boeing 787-8 aircraft, United provides a mix of 243 seats across Economy, Economy Plus, Premium Plus, and Polaris Business Class. The aircraft’s innovative design, featuring large windows, spacious storage, and LED lighting, enhances the passenger experience on these long-haul flights.
