Ultra Portfolio to open Lone Palm Lodge on the Zambezi in mid-2026
Zambian tour operator The Ultra Portfolio is entering the luxury lodge market with Lone Palm Lodge, a 10‑tent, air‑conditioned camp on the banks of the Zambezi River, 16km upstream of Victoria Falls. Scheduled to open in mid‑2026, the development adds upscale capacity to a prime Southern African destination for river, wildlife and falls-based itineraries.
Seven en‑suite tents will face the river and three the on‑site dam, all with indoor and outdoor showers, with children aged six and over accommodated on request. Shared areas will include two open‑air sunken firepits, a riverside pool, breakfast deck and restaurant, lounge and bar, alongside wellness options such as yoga, sound therapy and in‑room spa treatments; activities will include boat cruises and game drives. The lodge will be primarily solar powered, with internet available only in the main area via Starlink.
