Ultimate Safaris' Self-Drive fleet is going unbranded - and we have a new addition

Ultimate Safaris was not known as a company that ALSO offered self-drive rentals, so we needed to ensure that everyone became aware that we did, and branding was the fastest way to achieve this. It has clearly worked, and now that you are aware, our fleet is going completely UNBRANDED, yes, neutral, no branding at all! All our new additions are already sporting their unbranded look and we are in the process of ‘unbranding’ our existing fleet, which should be done over the next few months.

We have also added 2 new 300 series Landcruiser's to our fleet. They offer a self-drive option for families who need a little more space, but it is also an option for those wanting to travel in more comfort and luxury. 

Also, here is a reminder of our self-drive vehicle rental strategy; as part of our strategy to offer the best service possible, we have answered the calls for uncomplicated and user-friendly vehicle rental for self-drive safaris! This means there is no longer any need to join long queues while waiting to get rental vehicles at the airport or to deal with the varied extra charge options when using different vehicle hire companies. Everything that is needed is included from the start so quotes are less complicated, and we no longer need to deal with credit card holds via third parties. There are also no more rushed handovers of the vehicles that have been booked.

Our self-drive vehicle rental strategy is simple, and the aim is to deliver the best service possible in the least complicated way. All our vehicles are automatic transmission and equipped for standard self-drive safaris, but not for camping safaris. Rental vehicles are delivered and handed over at Windhoek accommodation establishments to ensure a stress-free experience, and this is normally combined with a detailed safari briefing. Vehicles are collected from the venue of the last night’s stay in Windhoek, but they can also be returned at the airport with no extra charge if necessary, and airport transfers are complimentary.
