Uganda promotes tourism at FITUR Madrid 2026

Uganda is participating in FITUR 2026 in Madrid, promoting tourism and investment opportunities to deepen partnerships in Southern Europe and Spanish‑speaking markets. The trade fair runs 21–25 January at IFEMA Madrid and forms part of the government’s strategy to expand international reach and strengthen economic diplomacy.

The initiative aligns with Uganda’s National Development Plan IV, which prioritises tourism for its potential to generate foreign exchange, support SMEs, create jobs and attract investment across related value chains.
