Uganda promotes tourism and investment in Havana
The Uganda Embassy in Havana is showcasing the country’s tourism and investment opportunities at the 41st Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2025), running 24–29 November at Expocuba. The participation forms part of efforts to deepen bilateral trade, attract investors and expand market access for Ugandan products across the Caribbean and Latin America.
Uganda’s stand features agricultural products, traditional crafts and promotional materials, while diplomats meet trade representatives and sector specialists to explore collaboration in tourism, agriculture, manufacturing and other growth areas. This year’s fair – held amid Cuba’s economic challenges – spotlights renewable energy, artificial intelligence, tourism development and export promotion, drawing delegations from more than 50 countries including Canada, China, Guyana, Indonesia, the Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago and Russia.
