Uganda Airlines and Airlink sign interline agreement
Uganda Airlines and Airlink have signed an interline agreement dated 24 November 2025, enabling single‑ticket itineraries and through‑check‑in between Entebbe and more than 45 destinations across South Africa and the wider Southern Africa region via Johannesburg’s O. R. Tambo International Airport. The deal links Uganda Airlines’ network with Airlink’s regional schedule, widening travel options and improving connectivity between East and Southern Africa.
The partnership provides reciprocal access – with baggage checked to final destination and no need for separate bookings in Johannesburg – to key points including Cape Town, Durban, Victoria Falls, Windhoek and Gaborone. For the tourism sector, the tie‑up streamlines multi‑country itineraries and supports trade and leisure flows across the continent.
