South African National Parks (SANParks), in partnership with the Northern Cape Economic Development and Tourism (DEDaT) have added to tourism by creating an inclusive and accessible space in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Parks.

The two entities completed the Twee Rivieren Bird Hide which is intended to enhance visitor experience and is an additional development in tourism infrastructure investment.

The walkway to the bird hide at Twee Rivieren is now also wheelchair friendly. This expansion is part of SANParks’ policy to make all national parks accessible and user friendly for all.
