Turkish Airlines and Air Algérie sign MoU
Turkish Airlines and Air Algérie have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Algiers to broaden their strategic partnership and expand their codeshare agreement. The deal, signed on 10 October 2025 by Turkish Airlines CEO Bilal Ekşi and Air Algérie CEO Hamza Benhamouda at Air Algérie’s headquarters, aims to enhance connectivity between Türkiye and Algeria and strengthen links for travellers across both networks.
The framework includes cooperation on cargo interline services, aircraft leasing, catering, lounge access, maintenance and ground handling, alongside joint work on environmental projects, sustainability initiatives and training programmes. Both airlines said the partnership is intended to support business growth and foster cultural and economic exchange – a move that could improve travel options and market access for tourism and trade.
