A Race Like No Other- A Wild Challenge Race

The Migration Gravel Race (MGR) is a four-day, semi-supported stage race across 650km of the Maasai Mara. Riders tackle single-track, red clay, and rugged gravel at 1900m elevation, traversing Maasai villages, plains, and mountains. Secure checkpoints, resupply points, and rangers ensure rider safety. This endurance-driven race, with Wildebeest and Zebra route options, offers an unparalleled adventure through Kenya's iconic wilderness.

What Makes It Special?

Unlike traditional cycling events, MGR takes riders deep into the heart of the Maasai Mara’s untamed wilderness. The race demands strategy, endurance, and adaptability as participants share paths with local herders, safari jeeps, and even wildlife. The experience is raw and immersive, offering unparalleled views of the Mara’s iconic landscape and a chance to interact with the vibrant Maasai community.
