Tanzania – with Wild Frontiers

Tanzania, specifically the Serengeti & Kilimanjaro are probably two of the most iconic destinations in Africa … and with good reason.

Wild Frontiers has been operating in northern Tanzania for just over 20 years – based out of Arusha.- the company offers DMC services throughout the region.

We believe that all safaris should focus on the ‘experience’ first and foremost – and will assist you in designing the optimum itinerary for your guest… whether they like five star accommodations, private mobile camps, perhaps some hiking or walking, cultural interaction or quite simply exceptional game viewing – we aim to make sure your guests are in the right place, at the right time, for the right reasons.

We have our own small fleet of safari vehicles, and seasonal camps – Serengeti Wilderness Camps (Central, North and South).  These camps are the classic style of safari camp – just ten large meru tents, en-suite bathrooms, comfortable furnishings, and of course an amazing team looking after your guests.  It’s all about location – our camps are inside the National Park/Conservation area – positioned for optimal access to the ‘big herds’.

In addition to our Serengeti Wilderness Camps, we offer our ‘Explore Mobile’ camp experience – a fully supported mobile camp, that moves ahead of the guests with its own crew to set up in private locations.  A great way to experience the bush – privately.  Guests simply arrive, settle in with a GnT and enjoy a relaxing safari.

As a DMC, we design tailormade safaris throughout the region – at any/all of the game ‘parks’ – Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Manyara – using a variety of accommodations to suit the budget and the brief.  We also have a small group safaris on ‘fixed dates’ – which operate with minimum 2 guests – excellent value – specially for couples and single people.

And, just in case you are an athlete – we also organise the Kilimanjaro Marathon annually – this year was our 20th celebration of the event… a great excuse for people to visit Tanzania and enjoy a safari.

I look forward to sharing some insights into this beautiful region.
