Tanzania Tourism UK hosts successful London dinner event

Tanzania Tourism UK, along with a fine array of property owners from across Tanzania and Zanzibar hosted almost twenty leading Africa travel specialists at an informal dinner at B-Bar in London's Victoria.

With attendees including representatives of Beachcomber, Rainbow, Timeless Africa, Far & Wild, Yellow Zebra, Tanzania Odyssey and ATR, amongst others, the evening proved beneficial to everyone.

The hosts were required to give "appetiser" sized visual presentation of no more than 8 minutes, keeping the formal content light and easy, with plenty of opportunities to discuss matters over some delicious food served up by the charming staff at B-Bar in the private dining room.

The image shows the note books produced especially for the event, allowing attendees to scribble down notes from the presentations, with all content details provided.

Hosts represented Wayo Africa and Wilderness; Tanganyika Expeditions; Laba Laba; Chem Chem; Legendary Expeditions; Leonotis Adventures; Tulia Zanzibar; Honeyguide Tarangire Camp and Tent With A View. That meant that product in Serengeti, Grumeti; Ngorongoro; Lake Natron; Tarangire; Manyara, Saadani; Ruaha and on Zanzibar were all represented.

"We found the event very useful and we're very much looking forward to getting our Tanzania and Zanzibar programme up and running", commented Jo Dickie at Beachcombers. Meanwhile, Kaufmann from Rainbow stated that "The event was well worth it… and everyone was on top form."

Tanzania Tourism UK's Tim Henshall added that "The event was designed to bring people together in a very relaxed environment. It worked really well and we will be repeating things in Edinburgh and Brighton, too"

Due to unprecedented demand, an additional drinks party was added to the programme which saw a further dozen travel agents network with their hosts from 4-6pm.
