Tanzania-based airline Auric Air announces the beginning of the partnership with DRCT
Tanzania-based airline Auric Air announces the beginning of the partnership with DRCT, an IATA-certified technology provider. The cooperation aims to facilitate the distribution of Auric Air among travel agencies and other travel sellers.
New partners plan to extend the Auric Air distribution network. The Tanzanian airline will continue focusing on fleet operating and passenger service while DRCT will take care of new ticketing opportunities for travel sellers. The provider also assures the support service — users will be able to receive 24/7 assistance for any question or request.
Auric Air chose DRCT as its partner for its IT standards. With AI-based technology, for GDS users DRCT offers a plug-in to the web browser that will send Auric Air offers automatically when searching Tanzanian itineraries in GDS. If the agency does not work with GDS, DRCT will provide an online booking tool. For those who sell tickets online directly to passengers or corporate clients, Auric Air will be available in the DRCT API along with other leading airlines.
DRCT thus offers travel agencies an efficient and fast way of working, which will improve the shopping experience of ticketing agents and passengers. Finally, DRCT does not charge an integration fee and does not impose a minimum volume of tickets issued, moreover, the agency remains the holder of reservations.
