Tanzania Association of Tour Operators (TATO) Invites the Travel Trade to Connect at MATKA Helsinki and FITUR Madrid 2025
The Tanzania Association of Tour Operators (TATO) is delighted to announce its presence at two prominent international travel fairs: the MATKA Nordic Travel Fair in Helsinki, Finland, from 16th to 19th January 2025, and FITUR Madrid in Spain from 22nd to 24th January 2025.
At MATKA, TATO will host 14 co-exhibitors, including safari and trekking experts, Zanzibar tour specialists, activity providers, and accommodation partners. Located at Hall 7, Booth #7f128 at the Messukeskus Centre, the TATO stand will showcase Tanzania’s exceptional tourism offerings—from the iconic Serengeti and Mount Kilimanjaro to the pristine beaches of Zanzibar and immersive cultural experiences.
Following MATKA, TATO members will participate as buyers in FITUR Madrid. TATO delegation will also actively engage in the UN TOURISM Affiliate Members Corner session, titled “Targeting Traveller Segments”, taking place on Friday, 24th January 2025, from 11:00 to 13:00 at Pavilion 10, IFEMA.
Led by TATO Chairman Mr Wilbard Chambulo and TATO Board Director and Tourism Reboot Chairlady Mrs Vesna Glamocanin Tibaijuka, this strategic mission highlights Tanzania’s dedication to delivering authentic, tailor-made travel experiences that appeal to adventurers, leisure seekers, and cultural enthusiasts alike. TATO’s participation at these key events is made possible through the generous sponsorship of NMB Bank, a valued partner committed to advancing Tanzania’s global tourism profile.
The Tanzania Association of Tour Operators (TATO) team warmly invites travel professionals, partners, and stakeholders to connect, network, and collaborate at MATKA Helsinki and FITUR Madrid to discover why Tanzania remains the ultimate travel destination.
