TAAG to shift Luanda operations to new airport

TAAG Angola Airlines will transfer its flight operations to Luanda’s new Dr António Agostinho Neto International Airport from 19 October. From that date, all departures and arrivals on routes to Johannesburg, Cape Town, Lisbon, São Paulo, Lagos, Windhoek, São Tomé, Maputo, Nairobi and seasonal services to Porto and Havana will operate exclusively from the new airport.

Some services – including Brazzaville and Kinshasa – are already using the new facility. During the transition, TAAG will run a shuttle between Quatro de Fevereiro Airport and Dr António Agostinho Neto International Airport to support transit passengers connecting with airlines not yet based at the new hub, helping minimise disruption for international travellers.
