TAAG Angola Airlines has announced the resumption of flights between Luanda and Brazzaville, the capital of the Republic of Congo, starting 2 August 2024. The bi-weekly service will operate on Fridays and Sundays using a Dash-8 400 aircraft with a capacity of 74 passengers.

This strategic move aims to enhance connectivity within the SADC region and bolster TAAG's position as a regional facilitator. Brazzaville, the Republic of Congo's largest city and economic hub, is expected to attract both business and leisure travellers.

The route revival is part of TAAG's ongoing expansion, which currently includes 11 domestic and 12 international destinations. The airline, known for its strong high-yield market, also offers air cargo services crucial to Angola's economic development.

Tickets for the Luanda-Brazzaville route are available through TAAG's sales channels, with competitive rates offered for early bookings. This service restoration further cements TAAG's commitment to connecting African nations and fostering regional economic growth.
