TAAG Angola and Boeing expand pilot training
TAAG Angola Airlines and Boeing have signed an agreement at the 2025 Dubai Airshow to expand pilot training programmes, covering both cadets and experienced crews. The partnership will deliver competency‑based, data‑informed training and specialist support for the induction of new aircraft – including acceptance flights and the establishment of start‑up procedures – to strengthen safety and operational efficiency as TAAG brings Dreamliners into service.
Boeing will provide experienced pilots for on‑the‑job instruction, monitoring of early flights and performance feedback to help TAAG integrate new aircraft smoothly while maintaining international safety standards. The collaboration aligns with TAAG’s transformation strategy and builds on a longstanding relationship with Boeing – supporting more reliable flight operations and regional connectivity important to Africa’s tourism and trade.
