Skyward Express launches Nairobi to Dar es Salaam flight
Skyward Express has inaugurated its new flight route between Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) and Dar es Salaam’s Julius Nyerere International Airport. The service, operated using a 109-seater Fokker 100 jet, offers travellers a comfortable and premium travel experience.
The route connects Nairobi to Dar es Salaam, a bustling hub known for its business opportunities, cultural richness, and diverse attractions. This launch reflects Skyward Express’s commitment to enhancing regional connectivity while delivering luxury travel options.
Speaking at the launch, Transport Cabinet Secretary Davis Chirchir applauded the airline as a locally owned premium carrier challenging international competitors. He highlighted Skyward’s contributions to regional development by serving underserved routes across East Africa.
This new service strengthens Skyward Express’s position in East African aviation, providing passengers with quality and convenience for travel between these two iconic destinations.
