Shenton Safaris Launches Open-Air Star Bed Experience at Kaingo Camp
Shenton Safaris has introduced River Song, a new star bed offering at Kaingo Camp in Zambia's South Luangwa National Park. Available exclusively to Kaingo Camp guests during the 2026 safari season, the experience allows visitors to sleep in the open air on the banks of the Luangwa River following a private sunset dinner. The star bed includes a private bathroom, vanity and a freestanding outdoor bathtub overlooking the river.
Guest safety is maintained throughout the night by an armed scout and guide with radio contact on standby. Personal belongings not required for the overnight stay are securely stored at Kaingo Camp. River Song is now open for bookings.
