Shangri-La Le Touessrok opened Africa’s first Sun Club by Veuve Clicquot
Shangri-La Le Touessrok, Mauritius, and Veuve Clicquot unveiled Africa’s first Sun Club by Veuve Clicquot on 24 October 2025 at Coco’s Beach House on Frangipani Beach. The launch added a premium beachfront experience to the resort, extending the brand’s oceanfront concept to Mauritius and targeting luxury leisure travellers.
Open daily from 11am and operating year-round, the Sun Club served Veuve Clicquot cuvées including Rich, La Grande Dame and Yellow Label, with service designed for chilled or on‑ice pours. The setting featured the Maison’s yellow parasols and signature loungers, with the resort positioning the venue as refined yet relaxed – a move expected to bolster Mauritius’s high‑end beach club and F&B offering.
