Serengeti Balloon Safaris is delighted to announce that from December 2023 they will be launching a new flight route in the beautiful Tarangire National Park.

Consistently at the forefront of ballooning in Tanzania, Serengeti Balloon Safaris (SBS) are always looking to develop and improve their customer experiences. Having re-launched their ballooning operations in Ruaha earlier this year they are delighted to announce that they will be flying over Tarangire National Park from this December.

Tarangire National Park offers a simply stunning landscape to fly over. The launch site will be located in the North West corner of the Silale Swamp where you will take off in time to enjoy a stunning sunrise across Boundary Hill and Lokisale. Aloft on the gentle winds, you will enjoy views of the vast open Silale Swamp before head west into the beautiful Tarangire river valley fringed with countless baobab trees before landing in time for a sumptuous breakfast underneath a shaded baobab. With its diverse wildlife and exceptional birdlife, Tarangire offers a great alternative flight location to the Serengeti.

With an increased number of safari goers choosing to focus their safari within Tarangire, Manyara and Ngorongoro, these clients won’t need to forgo the magic of a balloon safari as they will now be able to experience it in the heart of Tarangire.

MD of Serengeti Balloon Safaris John Corse commented;

“ We are thrilled to be launching in Tarangire as it is such a stunning and diverse landscape to enjoy from the air. With a huge variety of wildlife, biodiversity and geology to enjoy it is one of my favourite places to fly and we look forward to sharing it with your guests.”
