Sebulon Chicalu Appointed CEO of Namibia Tourism Board
The Namibia Tourism Board (NTB) has appointed Sebulon Chicalu as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 March 2025. A seasoned tourism strategist, Chicalu brings extensive experience in tourism product development, hospitality services, and business event management. He previously served as Director of Tourism and Gaming at the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism, where he played a key role in shaping the country’s tourism policies and initiatives.
With qualifications including a Master of Business Administration and expertise in corporate governance and talent development, Chicalu is well positioned to lead NTB’s efforts in strengthening Namibia’s tourism sector. The Board expressed confidence in his leadership, highlighting his strategic vision to enhance Namibia’s appeal as a travel destination and drive innovation within the industry.
