Seabourn adds Cape Town departures to 2028 World Cruise

Seabourn has added two Cape Town departure options to its 120-day 2028 Cape to Cape World Cruise, strengthening South Africa’s role as a key embarkation point. Sailing on Seabourn Quest from Miami to Dover via Cape Horn and the Cape of Good Hope, the 26,000‑nautical‑mile itinerary covers more than 50 destinations across five continents – with Cape Town positioned at the voyage’s midpoint.

The new 38‑day Africa’s West Coast, Spain & France segment runs Cape Town to Dover from 29 March to 6 May 2028, while a shorter 30‑day Africa’s West Coast: Cape Town to Cabo Verde option focuses on African and Atlantic island calls before ending in Portugal. The 2028 programme introduces included expedition‑style experiences on a Seabourn world voyage for the first time, with an 18‑person expedition team offering complimentary Zodiac cruising and guided hikes in selected regions; the sailing also includes multiple maiden calls, access to more than 38 UNESCO‑recognised destinations, and marks the start of Seabourn’s 40th anniversary year.
