The Sarova Mara Game Camp has over the years positioned itself as a tranquil natural haven that immediately soaks away one’s stresses and strains. The Masai Mara, the vast savannah wilderness in which the Game Camp is located, is renowned for the annual wildebeest migration, not forgetting the Big 5 native to the reserve.

With tourist frequency becoming higher, and in line with our commitment to provide bespoke experiential stays, a series of refurbishments continue in earnest at the game camp. The 1st phase has so far seen 30 standard tents upgraded into deluxe tents and 1 family tent updated into spacious, tastefully designed spaces. Works are currently in progress of an upgrade of 9 standard tents to deluxe tents in time for the Easter holidays in April. The refurbishment efforts will continue well into 2023, and we’re striving to ensure all noise and disturbance is kept at a minimum. The end result will be 75 luxury tents innovatively built for ultimate comfort and in harmony with the Masai Mara ecosystem.

Out of the 75 tents each with ensuite bathrooms, 57 are deluxe, 12 are club and 3 are 2-bedroomed family tents each, all surrounded by the magnificence of the rolling grasslands. The game camp is built to provide unrivaled getaway experiences to families, couples, groups of friends as well as corporate teams, extending our renowned refreshing African hospitality to each guest.

The tarmacking of the 87.9 Kilometers Narok Sekenani C2 road by the government has upgraded the experience for game lovers resulting in a steady rise of local tourists. Let’s not forget the Sarova Mara environs have become the home of one of the largest pride of Lions in the Mara commonly known as the Sarova pride and currently at 24 members as well as the frequent opportunity of sighting the black rhino grazing at arm’s length along the camp’s perimeter.
