SANParks Raises International Conservation Fees by Up to 15% from November
South African National Parks (SANParks) will increase conservation fees for international visitors from 1 November 2026, with some parks seeing rises of around 15%. At Kruger National Park, the international adult daily rate climbs from R602 to R692, while the Cape of Good Hope section rises from R515 to R592 and Addo Elephant National Park increases from R492 to R565. The new fee structure will remain in place until 31 October 2027.
Citizens of Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries pay a middle-tier rate, while visitors from countries covered by a transfrontier agreement pay the same rate as South African residents at applicable parks. Local travellers can offset the increases through SANParks' Wild Card loyalty programme, which waives daily conservation fees across all 21 national parks. Current Wild Card pricing applies until 31 October 2026, with updated 2026/27 rates yet to be published.
