SANParks and NYDA Take Economic Inclusion Roadshow to Limpopo Communities

South African National Parks (SANParks) and the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) are hosting a series of Economic Inclusion Roadshows across Limpopo Province from 23 to 26 March 2026, targeting nearly 1,000 aspiring entrepreneurs from communities surrounding the Kruger National Park. The roadshows are focused on youth-owned, women-led, and rural enterprises, as well as community development forums and local leadership structures, spanning the Vhembe and Mopani District Municipalities - covering Musina, Collins Chabane, Greater Giyani, and Ba-Phalaborwa Local Municipalities.

The initiative aims to equip local SMMEs with practical information on accessing funding, procurement opportunities, and business support services linked to Kruger National Park's supply chain and tourism development projects. Key focus areas include strengthening market linkages, connecting businesses with investors and government agencies, and promoting sustainable business models that support conservation objectives. SANParks has underscored its mandate to provide economic opportunities for communities surrounding national parks, with the roadshows serving as a direct channel to communicate what procurement access and support the organisation can offer to local enterprises.
