Safari Gateway Named African Tourism Board Marketing Partner for USA and Germany

Safari Gateway, a Zanzibar-based destination management company, has been appointed a trusted partner for the African Tourism Board’s (ATB) marketing initiatives in the United States and Germany. The partnership forms part of ATB’s new PR and marketing programme aimed at strengthening international visibility for African destinations, with Safari Gateway playing a key role in the campaign’s outreach in Europe and North America.
Led by Managing Director Biubwa Omar Khamis, Safari Gateway may also participate in a pilot of a new African travel booking platform initially launching in Germany and Dubai. The company specialises in Zanzibar-based experiences, from luxury coastal getaways to wildlife safaris on the mainland, including the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The collaboration supports broader efforts to position Tanzania as a leading tourism destination while promoting sustainable travel and community empowerment.
