SAA launches twice-daily Johannesburg – Gaborone service

South African Airways has expanded its African network with a twice-daily Johannesburg – Gaborone service, which commenced on 4 November 2025. The route strengthens direct links between South Africa and Botswana and is intended to support trade, tourism and regional integration across Southern Africa.

Flights operate mornings and late afternoons, creating one-stop connectivity via Johannesburg to Windhoek, as well as regional and intercontinental destinations including Lusaka, Harare, Kinshasa, São Paulo and Perth. Added freight capacity supports time-sensitive shipments, complemented by multimodal links via the Walvis Bay corridor, while offering the tourism sector more flexible itineraries across the region.
