Rural South Africa projected to be next tourist hotspot for adventure seekers

More wealthy tourists are chasing adrenaline-filled outdoor experiences, according to News24, giving rural South African communities an opportunity to hot them.
Adventure Tourism Committee of the Southern Africa Tourism Services Association, Andre du Toit, says, ‘Adventure tourism is an international trend that is expected to grow in prominence over the coming years,’ and is set to reach R88 trillion by 2032.
Most adventure tourists come from Germany, and ‘adventure’ was ranked the second-most popular activity among European tourists to South Africa.
