Royal Air Maroc to launch Casablanca – Los Angeles direct flights
Royal Air Maroc will launch a new direct route between Casablanca and Los Angeles on 7 June 2026, creating the first non-stop air link between Africa and the US West Coast. The 12‑hour service will operate three times weekly – on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays – with tickets on sale since 4 December 2025 through the airline’s usual channels.
The route supports rising transatlantic demand ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026 across the United States, Mexico and Canada, and strengthens Casablanca’s role as a connecting hub between Africa, Europe and the Americas. Flights will be operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliners. The move expands RAM’s North America network, which already includes New York, Washington, Miami, Montréal and Toronto. CEO Hamid Addou described the launch as a milestone for Africa’s air connectivity and Morocco’s international reach.
