Radisson Announces its First Safari Hotel in South Africa
Radisson Hotel Group has opened its first safari hotel in Africa - the 138-room Radisson Safari Hotel Hoedspruit in South Africa's Limpopo province. Located between the Kruger National Park and Blyde River Canyon, the contemporary hotel is located 2km outside of Hoedspruit and about 20 minutes from Eastgate Airport.
Guests can go on safari adventures to see wildlife, horseback trekking, or hot air ballooning over the landscape. The hotel features three restaurants - Mirage for South African and Lebanese fare, Pegasus for Mediterranean and American dishes, and Boma with local delicacies.
Amenities include a spa, fitness centre, and meeting venues. Says Radisson's COO Tim Cordon, “We’re thrilled to open our first safari-inspired hotel in South Africa, marking our 11th hotel in the country and completing our own Golden Triangle Safari offering.”
