Pullman Hotels & Resorts, part of the Accor group, is set to open its first East African property in Nairobi, Kenya, at the end of June. The Pullman Hotel Nairobi Upper Hill will offer 162 rooms, blending contemporary design with flexible workspaces and vibrant social areas.

The hotel will feature a lobby bar, all-day dining restaurant, fitness centre, and outdoor pool, alongside state-of-the-art meeting facilities. It aims to cater to both business and leisure travellers, emphasising a balance of work and leisure.

This development comes as Kenya's hospitality industry experiences significant growth, with the accommodation and food services sector expanding by 26% in Q3 2023. The industry is a key contributor to Kenya's economy and development agenda.

Pullman's entry into the Kenyan market signals a new era in upscale hospitality, introducing the concept of "workspitality" through its WOJO co-working spaces. This innovative approach combines workspace and hospitality to meet the evolving needs of modern professionals and travellers.
