Proflight Zambia to launch 2026 Lusaka – Maun service
Proflight Zambia has announced plans to launch a direct Lusaka – Maun route in 2026, strengthening links between two leading safari destinations in Southern Africa. The move, revealed by CEO Anthony Irwin at the Airlines Association of Southern Africa’s Annual General Assembly, underscores Lusaka’s growing role as a regional aviation hub.
The service is expected to ease travel for leisure and business travellers by improving access to Zambia’s national parks and Botswana’s Okavango Delta. It supports tourism growth through multi-country itineraries and cross-border collaboration, aligning with wider efforts to bolster intra-African connectivity and advance sustainable, tourism-led economic development.
