Proflight Zambia to Adopt Cashless Payments from November 2025

Proflight Zambia has announced it will move to a fully cashless payment system from 1 November 2025, ending cash transactions at all its offices except its Headquarters Sales Office in Lusaka. In line with the Bank of Zambia’s financial digitisation policy and global aviation standards, the shift aims to improve efficiency, increase security, and enhance customer experience across its network.

Customers will be able to pay for flights and services using mobile money, card payments in Zambian Kwacha or US Dollars, bank deposits, and other approved digital channels. The airline’s commercial and finance teams will support the roll-out by expanding payment options and assisting offices during the transition. This step reinforces Proflight Zambia’s focus on innovation and aligns with wider efforts to modernise Zambia’s travel industry.
