Proflight Zambia gains IOSA registration
Proflight Zambia has been added to IATA’s Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Registry, becoming the only airline in Zambia with the global accreditation as of 27 January 2026. The milestone signals compliance with internationally recognised safety standards and is expected to bolster traveller confidence and support tourism by strengthening the country’s air connectivity.
IOSA audits are conducted every two years and assess an airline’s operational management and control systems against IATA Standards and Recommended Practices. Proflight said the listing validates its safety systems and can unlock interline and codeshare opportunities with global carriers – improving seamless travel to, from and within Zambia – while IOSA‑listed airlines typically report lower all‑accident rates.
