Proflight Zambia Boosts Flights for Safari Season

Proflight Zambia will double its Livingstone–Lusaka flight frequency from 1 April 2025, enhancing connectivity as the safari season begins. The route will now operate twice daily, with early afternoon and evening services designed to improve links for travellers arriving from Cape Town and Johannesburg. The additional flights will reduce transit times and provide greater flexibility for visitors exploring Victoria Falls and nearby wildlife attractions such as Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park.
The airline has also expanded its safari season schedule, with flights to Mfuwe offering better access to South Luangwa, renowned for walking safaris and diverse wildlife. Other routes connect Lusaka to Mansa and Kasama, catering to travellers seeking Zambia’s lesser-known natural and cultural attractions. Proflight Zambia’s Director of Flight Operations, Josias Walubita, said the increase aligns with seasonal travel trends, ensuring smoother access to the country’s key tourism sites at a peak time for safari experiences.
