Proflight launches Lusaka – Livingstone – Windhoek link to strengthen regional connectivity

Proflight Zambia has launched a three‑city service linking Lusaka, Livingstone and Windhoek, creating a direct Zambia – Namibia connection with same‑day links between the three hubs. The route is aimed at supporting business travel, tourism and cross‑border investment, aligning with Zambia’s plan to position itself as a regional transport and logistics hub and broader industry calls for stronger Southern African connectivity.

Flights operate three times weekly on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with the Lusaka–Windhoek sector including a brief stop in Livingstone where passengers remain on board. Operated by a 50‑seat CRJ 200, the service connects into Proflight’s domestic and regional network and 12 interline partners via Lusaka, and is expected to facilitate combined Zambia – Namibia tourism circuits including Victoria Falls, South Luangwa, Etosha and the Namib. Proflight is Zambia’s only IOSA‑registered carrier and an IATA member.
