Painted Wolf Wines – Art for Conservation: Supporting African Wild Dogs Through Art & Wine

PWW.jpg

Painted Wolf Wines, founded by Jeremy and Emma Borg, merges fine winemaking with a passion for conservation. A portion of their wine sales supports the conservation of endangered African wild dogs, also known as Painted Wolves, and the African wilderness. This amounts to over USD200,000 to date.

In collaboration with artist Leandri Erlank, Painted Wolf Wines has launched an art-driven donation campaign for the Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT). Erlank, a Stellenbosch Fine Arts graduate, specialises in sculpture and expressive artworks that evoke a deep connection to wildlife. Her dynamic creations highlight the beauty and vulnerability of the African wild dog, inspiring action and awareness.

Leandri Erlank:
"Art makes conservation visible. My work tells the story of the African wild dog—one of Africa’s most endangered carnivores—engaging people emotionally to inspire real action."

Emma Borg:

‘We are proud ambassadors of this incredible endangered species spreading awareness through our wines, labels and stories. We appreciate the support of the tourism industry. Sustainability benefits all, with wine, tourism, and wildlife being interconnected. Through EWT, we help preserve biodiversity and support the ecosystems essential to all three."

Bid on breathtaking, one-of-a-kind artworks created using charcoal wine. Bidding closes: 30 April 2025 | Winners announced: 14 May 2025

Alternatively, you can still support this powerful cause with a donation. Every bit helps the Endangered Wildlife Trust continue their vital work.
