Nomad's Entamanu re-built and ready to rock and roll

Nomad's.jpg

Our wild abode on the edge of the iconic Crater has transformed. Gone are the canvas tented rooms that could be noisy in the windy season and in their place beautiful, spacious wooden cottages.

For 30 years we’ve committed to sourcing everything for our camps within Tanzania. And this commitment remains strong at Entamanu. So, you can expect stunning, locally sourced interiors delivered with the usual Nomad flair and originality, plus our continuing guarantee of minimal environmental impact. As before we’ve used no concrete in the build and we’ve even added living roofs to ensure that we can see, but not be seen.

The camp footprint remains unchanged with seven cottage style rooms, this includes two family cottages made up of two full size rooms and en-suite bathrooms.

WILD SETTING OVERLOOKING THE CRATER

Entamanu is uniquely off the beaten track but right on the Crater rim, and has

exceptional views both down into Ngorongoro Crater from one side (sunrise), and out over the Serengeti from the other (perfect for sundowners). Prepare for a hot high-altitude sun, chilly nights, and a year-round destination. This is the wild side of the Crater where the exclusivity and views are unsurpassed.

BLISSFULLY SECLUDED BUT FULL OF ADVENTURE

Our driveway is 9km of private road, so we're blissfully secluded in what can be a crowded space. In our determination to do things differently, we discovered just how much adventure lies outside the Crater bowl.

With all it has to offer, Entamanu is a destination in its own right, and if you ask us, no one should spend less than 3-nights here. We’ve got a selection of wonderful highland walks, Maasai interactions including Boma visits and Maasai dancing, private Crater rim cookouts and that’s all before you’ve been down to the Crater!
