Night flights resume at Tete airport – runway lighting repaired
Mozambique’s Tete airport has resumed normal operations, including night flights, after replacing vandalised approach lighting on runway 19. The intervention involved fitting new lamps, cables and transformers, restoring the technical and safety conditions required for full operations.
Aeroportos de Moçambique, E.P. reiterated its commitment to operational safety and thanked passengers and operators for their patience during the works. The restoration enhances reliability and connectivity for travellers to Tete Province – supporting tourism and business travel schedules.
