Nigeria to Host 68th UN Tourism CAF Meeting in June 2025

Nigeria will host the 68th UN Tourism Regional Commission for Africa (CAF) Meeting from 11 to 13 June 2025, marking a key moment for the continent’s tourism dialogue. Organised in partnership with UN Tourism, the gathering will feature a high-level thematic conference focused on enhancing the social impact of tourism through innovation, artificial intelligence, and the creative industries. The event is expected to attract tourism ministers, policymakers, private sector leaders and innovators from across Africa and beyond.
Key sessions will include the CAF working meeting focused on regional tourism cooperation, a public-private sector panel on digital skills and entrepreneurship, and an innovators’ panel highlighting AI-driven solutions in tourism. By addressing policy alignment and digital transformation, the event aims to strengthen Africa’s positioning as a resilient and competitive tourism destination.
