New Zimbabwe domestic routes connect our partners in Lake Kariba, Mana Pools, Victoria Falls and Hwange
fastjet Zimbabwe, the award-winning value-based airline has today announced their intention to commence air services to two new domestic leisure destinations of Kariba and Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe.
Commencing late March 2023. These planned additional routes to the airline’s domestic network will offer seamless connections for travellers from Harare and Victoria Falls to two more of Zimbabwe’s top tourism destinations, with scheduled flight connections using Embraer E120, 30-seater turboprop aircraft.
Following the announcement of daily flights by fastjet , Mack Air and South West Aviation have aligned themselves completely with fastjet to provide seat rate connections from Victoria Falls, Hwange and Kariba to all lodges and camps.
“The re-introduction of theses destinations takes me back to the days of the classic “Milk Run” circuit, much loved by safari travellers and tour operators alike. Linking Harare, Lake Kariba (and the Mana Pools and Matusadona National Parks), Victoria Falls, Hwange and the Matopo’s, via Bulawayo the new flights offer clients a multitude of exciting safari circuit options.

In 1991 The Brown Family opened The Ilala Lodge Hotel, its close proximity the “The Falls” themselves have made it a favourite destination for over 31 years. Ever the visionaries in December 2021 the Browns opened The Palm River Hotel. The sister hotel to the popular Ilala Lodge. It is located upstream from Ilala and the Victoria Falls, on the banks of Zambezi River, about 5 kms (less than a 10-minute drive) from the entrance of the Victoria Falls.
