New Windhoek-Cape Town flight route to launch in October
Air Connect Namibia, the regional airline led by the Namibia Airports Company (NAC), has expressed enthusiasm for FlySafair's new flight route connecting Windhoek to Cape Town, set to launch on 22 October.
FlySafair will operate twice-weekly flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays, strengthening ties between Namibia's capital and South Africa's "mother city". Cape Town is expected to become the second-largest international destination for passengers departing from Windhoek.
The new route aims to offer increased choice and convenience, fostering economic collaboration and cultural exchange between the two nations.
Air Connect Namibia, a collaboration of various Namibian organisations, supports carriers serving the country's international airports to promote economic growth and tourism development.
