Themba Travel is a UK-based tour operator offering locally inspired Southern African journeys that inspire change. We specialize in high-impact holidays offering both Volunteering opportunities and Tailor-made experiences for the conscious and kind traveller. We serve destinations like South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Kenya and growing into other destinations.

Our mission is always to celebrate culture, create meaningful engagements with communities, and bring awareness to conservation. Inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Goals, we provide holidays that deliver positive social and environmental impact on the host destination. 

Our volunteering holidays match travellers' skills and experiences with grassroots projects in and around beautiful Cape Town, Zimbabwe, and Kenya. Projects range from social (health, education, community development)to wildlife and marine conservation projects for individuals, couples, families and student groups. 

Tailor-made holidays cater for all types of travellers. From solo travellers, small groups to families and introduces them to the best of the Western Cape in South Africa but mostly go off the beaten track from beach to bush, winelands to the mountains to the hidden gems of the four countries.
