New Luxury Tented Camp Opening in Kenya's Maasai Mara

The new Mara Toto Tree Camp is set to open on 1 July 2024 as a luxury lodge in Kenya's famous Maasai Mara region. Located in a secluded ebony forest, the tented camp will accommodate just 8 guests in 4 elevated treehouse suites, providing an intimate safari experience.

Operated by Great Plains Conservation, the tented camp combines a classic safari aesthetic with modern amenities. The suites feature indoor lounges, double vanities, antique copper bathtubs and indoor showers. Guests will enjoy complimentary use of binoculars, professional camera equipment and photography downloads. The central guest area offers indoor and outdoor dining, a private wine cellar and outdoor deck with fireplace.

Safari drives in open-sided vehicles provide optimal wildlife viewing and photography opportunities. Mara Toto grants access to both the Maasai Mara Reserve and the exclusive Mara North Conservancy, allowing guests to witness the annual Great Migration of over one million wildebeest and zebras in July and August.
