To celebrate Virunga Lodge's 20 year journey, Prosper Uwingeli the Chief Park Warden of Volcanoes National Park and Praveen Moman, Founder Volcanoes Safaris, hosted an informal conversation on gorilla conservation and ecotourism with key conservation partners from the region in April 2024.
We thank Rwanda Development Board, our conservation partners, The Mayor of Burera district, Local government executives, Rwanda Chamber of Tourism and Rwanda Tour and Travel Association, the US Embassy, neighbours, staff for making this a thoughtful and productive event.
