Moivaro Lodges & Tented Camps began its operations in 2000 by providing accommodation and meals to its clients in its 14 rooms Moivaro Lodge, Arusha.  Over the years, Moivaro Group has continued to expand, with the Moivaro Lodge now having 42 rooms and a collection of 14 properties in Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar.

The Moivaro Lodges & Tented Camps portfolio now includes Kia Lodge at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, Moivaro Lodge and Arusha Safari Lodge in the outskirts of Arusha Town, Migunga Camp in the Lake Manyara area, Crater Forest Tented Camp in the Crater Highlands (Karatu), Ikoma Tented Camp and Robanda Safari Camp in Serengeti, Tindiga Tented Camp in Lake Eyasi, Lake Natron Tented Camp in Lake Natron Area, Selous Wilderness Camp in the Nyerere National Park, and Mikumi Wilderness Camp in the Mikumi National Park.

In Zanzibar there is the Swahili House in Stone Town, Fumba Beach Lodge at the Fumba beachfront, and Unguja Lodge at the beach in the South of Zanzibar.
