Morocco Strengthens Brazil Tourism Market as Visitor Numbers Rise

Morocco is seeing continued growth from the Brazilian market, with 30,132 Brazilian visitors arriving during the first half of 2026 - a 14% increase compared with the same period last year. The growth has been driven largely by the success of Royal Air Maroc's direct Casablanca–São Paulo route, which now operates four times a week and has achieved an average load factor of 83%. The airline plans to increase the service to five weekly flights in October, with a daily service targeted for 2027.

The expanding air connectivity is being supported by a new interline agreement with LATAM, making it easier for travellers from across Brazil to connect to Morocco via Casablanca. The strong performance builds on a record 2025, when Morocco welcomed 54,475 Brazilian tourists, up 35% year-on-year, highlighting Brazil's growing importance as a key long-haul source market and reinforcing Morocco's strategy to diversify its international visitor base.
