Minor Hotels sets record 2025 profit
Minor Hotels reported record 2025 results, with core profit rising 32% year-on-year to THB 6.84 billion (about USD 217 million) on broadly stable core revenue of THB 133.2 billion. Across the Middle East and Africa, RevPAR grew by 10%, driven primarily by strong rate growth, particularly in the luxury segment. In Asia and the Indian Ocean, rate-led growth drove RevPAR up by 12%, with the Maldives a key driver of performance. Group occupancy reached 68% (+1pp), ADR rose 3% and system-wide RevPAR increased 4%.
Europe and the Americas remain the earnings anchor. Total System Sales grew 3% like-for-like to THB 140.36 billion, delivered despite refurbishments at flagship properties. The group added 23 openings and 40 signings in 2025, saw a strong fourth quarter, and is targeting further asset-light expansion in 2026, including a proposed hotel real estate investment trust (REIT) to enable capital recycling.
